Judge Sheila Beard travelled to Yarmouth on Tuesday Jan 24th to test several skaters from the Yarmouth and Shelburne Skating Clubs.
The following skaters passed tests:
Kate Fiander and Shayleigh Doucet both passed their Canasta Tango.
Sydney Newell passed her Junior Bronze Skating Skills
Kylie Landry passed her Senior Bronze Freeskate Program
Congratulations girls!!! We are so proud of you!!! 
Sheila also stayed at rink side after the testing was completed and gave the skaters an opportunity to ask her questions. Some of the questions she fielded where about what judges are looking for in a program during competition, how they can improve their scores and about the new scoring system. It was an excellent learning experience for the skaters!!
